Elvis Costello And The Attractions – Punch The Clock is Elvis Costello's eighth studio album, first released on August 5, 1983 on F-Beat. It was recorded from January to April 1983 at AIR Studios in London and produced by Clive Langer and Alan Winstanley. Alongside the Attractions it features the TKO Horns and the vocal duo Afrodiziak, and Chet Baker plays a trumpet solo on "Shipbuilding". "Everyday I Write The Book" became Costello's first US Top 40 hit, and the album reached No. 3 in the UK. This copy is the 2015 European 180g reissue on UMe with inner sleeve.

No. The original was released in 1983 on F-Beat. This record is a 2015 European reissue on 180g vinyl.

What is the story of "Shipbuilding"?
The music was written by Clive Langer and Costello added the lyrics, which refer to the Falklands War. The trumpet solo was played by jazz musician Chet Baker.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG+ mean?
