FAQ
Is this an original pressing?
The compilation itself first came out in 1984, so this record belongs to the first edition of “Rocker”. The songs, however, date from 1956 and 1957 and originally appeared on Elvis singles and early LPs.
Why is it in mono?
The 1956 and 1957 rock and roll sessions were produced in mono. “Rocker” keeps that sound and presents the original tapes remastered on vinyl.
What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. For the sleeve, VG+ means light wear such as edge wear or light ring wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
Do you have more Elvis Presley records?
Yes, from the same early period for example Elvis Presley – Elvis Presley, Elvis Presley – Rock ’n’ Roll (DE reissue 1972) and Elvis Presley – Good Rockin’ Tonight (10"). More in our Beat / Rock & Roll collection.
