"Works (Volume 1)" (1977) is ELP's ambitious double album featuring one side each dedicated to Emerson, Lake, and Palmer individually, plus a fourth collaborative side - showcasing the full scope of their classical, jazz, and rock ambitions. Highlights include Keith Emerson's Piano Concerto No. 1 and Greg Lake's "C'est la Vie". A landmark of progressive rock excess and virtuosity, in a superb UK Original Trifold pressing on Atlantic.
