Fairport Convention - Fairport Live Convention (Vinyl LP | UK Blue Labels Reissue)

Fairport Convention – Fairport Live Convention is a live album by the British folk rock band, released in July 1974 on Island (cat. no. John Wood recorded most tracks on January 26, 1974 at the Sydney Opera House, three more in December 1973 at the Rainbow Theatre in London and Fairfield Hall in Croydon. It documents the short period when Sandy Denny had rejoined the band. This copy is a UK reissue with blue labels and inner sleeve.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The first edition was released in July 1974. This copy is a later UK reissue with blue Island labels and the same catalogue number ILPS 9285.

Where was the album recorded?
Most of it comes from two shows on January 26, 1974 at the Sydney Opera House. "Fiddlestix", "Down In The Flood" and the medley closing side B were recorded in December 1973 in London and Croydon.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
Record: NM- (Near Mint minus) means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. Sleeve: VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use that barely affect playback or the overall impression. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Fairport Convention records?
Yes, for example Fairport Convention – Liege & Lief, Fairport Convention – Full House and Fairport Convention – What We Did On Our Holidays. More titles are in our Folk Rock collection.
