Description

Galactic Supermarket – Galactic Supermarket was released in 1974 on the Kosmische Musik label and is regarded as the second album by the Cosmic Jokers. The record itself only credits "Galactic Supermarket" as the artist – but collectors know it as a work of the studio project The Cosmic Jokers around Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser and Gille Lettmann. It grew out of long jam sessions with Manuel Göttsching (Ash Ra Tempel), Klaus Schulze, Jürgen Dollase (Wallenstein), Harald Grosskopf and Dieter Dierks at the Quadro studio in Stommeln. Two endless cosmic improvisations make it a cornerstone of Kosmische Musik. This copy is the 1974 German original pressing in quadraphonic sound (SQ).
