Description
George Duke – Faces In Reflection is a trio album by keyboardist George Duke, released on MPS Records in 1974 (cat. no. 21 22018-4). With John Heard on bass and Leon "Ndugu" Chancler on drums, Duke blends jazz, funk and fusion, and he also sings on Capricorn and Faces In Reflection No. 2. Alongside eight of his own pieces the trio plays Maria Tres Filhos by Milton Nascimento and Fernando Brant, an early sign of Duke's interest in Brazilian music. It was produced by Baldhard G. Falk, recorded by Fred Borkgren and mixed by Kerry McNabb. This copy is the 1974 German original pressing.
