George Michael - Faith (Vinyl 2LP | EU Reissue | 2026)

George Michael – Faith is George Michael's first solo album after the end of Wham!, released in late October 1987 on Columbia (US) and early November on Epic (UK). Michael wrote and produced every track himself, recording at Puk Studios in Denmark and Sarm West Studios in London. The album sold over 25 million copies worldwide, gave him four US No. 1 hits with "Faith", "Father Figure", "One More Try" and "Monkey", and won the Grammy for Album of the Year in 1989. This copy is a 2026 European reissue as a double LP on red and black marbled vinyl, half-speed remastered, with the 13-minute "Monogamy Mix" of "I Want Your Sex" on side D.

FAQ

What does half-speed mastered mean?
In half-speed mastering, the source recording and the cutting lathe both run at half speed. This allows the groove to be cut more precisely, which mainly benefits the high frequencies.

Why two LPs instead of one?
The nine album tracks are spread over three sides, leaving more room per side. Side D adds the full, roughly 13-minute "Monogamy Mix" of "I Want Your Sex".

Is this the original pressing?
No. Faith was first released in 1987. This copy is a 2026 European reissue. For an original pressing see George Michael – Faith (EU original 1987).

Do you have more George Michael records?
Yes, for example Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1 (crystal clear vinyl), Older (2LP) and, by Wham!, Make It Big (white vinyl).
