Gorillaz – The Fall is the fourth studio album by the virtual band of Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. Albarn recorded the 15 tracks in October and November 2010 on the road during the North American "Plastic Beach" tour, in hotels and tour buses, mostly on an iPad; the song titles refer to tour stops from Montreal to Seattle. The album first came out on 25 December 2010 as a download for fan club members, followed by a physical release on Parlophone in April 2011. This copy is the 2019 reissue on black vinyl (Parlophone 5 86039-1).

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The first vinyl edition came out for Record Store Day 2011. This copy is the regular 2019 reissue on black vinyl, not the green Record Store Day edition from the same year.

Was the album really recorded on an iPad?
Mostly, yes. Damon Albarn recorded the tracks with iPad apps during the 2010 tour, with contributions from touring musicians such as Mick Jones and Paul Simonon.
