FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes, it is the 1984 German original edition with catalogue number 6.25798, manufactured by Teldec in Hamburg.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means the sleeve shows light wear, somewhat more visible on this copy. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Why is the group not called Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five here?
After the dispute with Sugar Hill in 1983/84, Grandmaster Flash left for Elektra with Kidd Creole and Rahiem. Melle Mel stayed with Sugar Hill and continued the Furious Five with a new line-up.

Do you have more Melle Mel and Furious Five records?
Yes, for example Grandmaster Melle Mel – King Of The Streets (12"), Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five – The Message (LP, DE 1982) and The Message (12").
