Description
Haboob – Haboob is an album by the trio Haboob, released in Germany in 1971 on Hör Zu Black Label / Reprise. The band name refers to a desert wind – the front cover advertises the record as “Haboob Wüstenwind PROgressivPOP”. Musically the album sits between psychedelic rock, prog and blues rock, driven by Farfisa organ and the almost ten-minute opener “Israfil”. It was produced by Olaf Kübler. On offer is the 1971 German original pressing (REP 34002).
