Honolulu Mountain Daffodils were one of the more colourful and eccentric acts to emerge from the late-80s German alternative rock underground. Tequila Dementia (1988) blends psychedelic rock textures with a loose, irreverent energy that sits somewhere between garage rock and art-rock experimentation. Released on the SPV-distributed Rebel Records imprint, it is a cult item for collectors of obscure European alternative and psychedelic rock of the era.
