Description

Pixies – Bossanova is the third studio album by US band Pixies, released on August 13, 1990 on 4AD. Produced by Gil Norton, it was recorded in 1989/90 mainly in Los Angeles studios, with sessions also at Hansa Tonstudio in Berlin. The album combines surf guitars and science-fiction themes with the band's loud-quiet dynamics; it opens with the Surftones instrumental "Cecilia Ann" and includes the singles "Velouria" and "Dig For Fire". It reached No. 3 in the UK and No. 27 in Germany. This copy is the 1990 German pressing on Rough Trade / 4AD with inner sleeve.
