Jamiroquai – Emergency On Planet Earth is the debut album by London acid jazz and funk band Jamiroquai, fronted by Jay Kay, released in June 1993 on Sony Soho Square. It was produced by Jay Kay, keyboardist Toby Smith, bassist Stuart Zender and Mike Nielsen. The album entered the UK chart at number 1; Zender’s basslines, horns, strings and Wallis Buchanan’s didgeridoo shape the sound, and the lyrics often deal with environmental and social issues. Singles included “When You Gonna Learn”, “Too Young To Die” and “Blow Your Mind”. This copy is the 2017 EU reissue on Sony Music as a double LP on black 180g vinyl, new and factory sealed.
