FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No, Aqualung was first released in 1971. This is the 1981 Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Original Master Recording edition (MFSL 1-061) – a separate audiophile release, and the first issue of that edition.

What is an MFSL “Original Master Recording”?
For this series Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab licensed the original master tapes and cut the records using half-speed mastering. Collectors value these editions for their sound quality.

What does Media NM- / sleeve VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the sleeve means light wear, very good overall. More at Vinyl Grading.
