Jethro Tull - This Was (Vinyl LP | FR Reissue | 1973 | Gatefold)

Jethro Tull – This Was is Jethro Tull's debut album, originally released in 1968. Here the band is still deeply rooted in the blues – with Ian Anderson's flute, Mick Abrahams' guitar and earthy grooves, before they headed toward progressive rock. It features “My Sunday Feeling”, “Beggar's Farm”, “Serenade To A Cuckoo” and “A Song For Jeffrey”.

On offer is a 1973 French reissue on Chrysalis (CHR 1041) in a gatefold sleeve.
