Jimi Hendrix – Crash Landing was originally released in 1975 as a posthumous album, compiled and produced by Alan Douglas from unfinished studio sessions. Controversial because parts were later re-recorded by session musicians – but with strong moments such as "Message To Love", "Come Down Hard On Me", "Peace In Mississippi" and "Stone Free Again".
