Description

Joe Bataan – Rap-O Clap-O (Disco Remix) was released in 1979 as a 12" on Salsoul Records. The New York Latin soul musician wrote and produced the track himself – an early combination of disco groove and spoken vocals that is regarded today as one of the forerunners of rap. The B-side has the instrumental version.

On offer is the original German pressing of the 12" maxi from 1979 on Salsoul Records (XC 2375), manufactured by RCA.
