Description
Joe Haider – Katzenvilla is a trio album by Darmstadt-born pianist Joe Haider, released in 1971 on Spiegelei (cat. no. 28772-2 U). It was recorded on October 12, 1971 at Horst Jankowski Studio in Stuttgart, produced by Otto B. Hartmann, with Isla Eckinger on bass and Pierre Favre on drums. Five of the six pieces are Haider's own; EJP was written by all three musicians. In the late 1960s Haider led the house trio at the Domicile in Munich and later directed the Swiss Jazz School in Bern. This copy is the 1971 German original pressing.
