Description

Jon Lord – Sarabande is the Deep Purple keyboardist's solo album, first released in 1976, on which he combines baroque dance forms such as Fantasia, Gigue, Bourrée and Pavane with a rock band and orchestra. It was recorded in September 1975 with Eberhard Schoener conducting, and Andy Summers is among the guitarists. A key work for anyone who loves symphonic rock and the meeting of classical music and rock.

On offer is the 2019 EU reissue on Ear Music (0214173EMU) in a gatefold sleeve.
