Description
Jonzun Crew – Lost In Space is the debut album by Boston electro group Jonzun Crew, led by Michael "Spaceman" Jonzun, released in 1983 on Tommy Boy. Michael Jonzun produced the album and played much of the synthesizer, drum machine and bass himself; co-producers were Maurice Starr and Tom Silverman. It was recorded at Unique Recording in New York and Boston International Recorders. It includes the electro singles "Pack Jam", "Space Is The Place" and "Space Cowboy". FAQ
Is this the original pressing?
It is the 1983 German first edition with catalogue number 810 894-1, released in the same year as the US edition on Tommy Boy.
What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means the sleeve shows light wear; here there is also a small spot on the front where a sticker was removed. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
What is "Pack Jam"?
"Pack Jam (Look Out For The OVC)" was released as a Jonzun Crew single in 1982 and became an early electro classic. On the album it closes side B.
Do you have more Jonzun Crew records?
At the moment this album is our only title by the group. More electro and rap records are in our Hip Hop collection and under Electronic.
