Description

Judas Priest – Ram It Down is Judas Priest's eleventh studio album, released in May 1988 on CBS. It was recorded at Ibiza Sound Studio in Ibiza and Puk Recording Studios in Denmark and produced by Tom Allom. Four songs date back to the planned double album "Twin Turbos", which was split into Turbo (1986) and this record; there is also a cover of Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode". It is the last album with drummer Dave Holland. This copy is a 1988 Greek original pressing (cat. no. 461108 1) with the original inner sleeve.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes, a Greek pressing from the 1988 release year on CBS with catalogue number 461108 1. We also have European pressings of the same album in the shop.

How is Ram It Down related to Turbo?
Judas Priest originally planned the double album "Twin Turbos". The label split the material: Turbo came out in 1986, and four of the songs (Ram It Down, Hard As Iron, Love You To Death, Monsters Of Rock) ended up on this 1988 album.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG+ (tiny sticker rip off on front) mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) on the record means light signs of play that barely affect listening. On the sleeve, VG+ means light wear; the note "tiny sticker rip off on front" describes it more precisely for this copy. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Judas Priest records?
Yes, for example Judas Priest – Turbo (EU Original 1986), Judas Priest – Ram It Down (EU Original 1988), Judas Priest – Painkiller. More titles are in our Metal collection.
