Description
Judas Priest – Sad Wings Of Destiny is Judas Priest’s second studio album, recorded in November and December 1975 at Rockfield Studios in Wales and released on March 26, 1976 on Gull Records. It was produced by Jeffery Calvert, Max West and the band, with Chris Tsangarides as co-engineer; it is the only Priest album with Alan Moore drumming on every track. With Victim Of Changes, The Ripper and Tyrant it defined the band’s sound and image and influenced the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal. This copy is a 1983 German reissue on Line Records on green vinyl with the original inner sleeve.

FAQ
Is this the original pressing?
No. The original was released in the UK in 1976 on Gull Records. This record is a 1983 German reissue on Line Records; Line also issued the album on white vinyl at the time.
What does Media NM- / Cover VG mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG (Very Good) means the sleeve shows clear signs of wear, here edge wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
Why does side B start with Prelude?
The sleeve lists Prelude first, but the sides on the record are swapped: side A opens with Victim Of Changes, side B with Prelude.
Do you have more Judas Priest records?
Yes, for example Judas Priest – Unleashed In The East, Turbo (EU original 1986) and Painkiller. More titles are in our Metal collection.
