FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1975 German first edition on Utopia, manufactured by RCA in Germany, in a gatefold sleeve. Editions were also released at the same time in the US and UK.

Is Julie Tippetts the same as Julie Driscoll?
Yes. As Julie Driscoll she sang with Brian Auger & The Trinity in the late 1960s. After marrying pianist Keith Tippett she turned to free jazz and improvisation.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the record means light signs of use that hardly affect playback. VG (Very Good) for the sleeve means clear signs of wear such as edge or corner wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Julie Tippetts records?
Yes, for example Brian Auger & Julie Tippetts – Encore. Her husband Keith Tippett plays on Hopper / Dean / Tippett / Gallivan – Mercy Dash. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
