Description

Kapingbdi – Don't Escape is an album by the African band Kapingbdi led by saxophonist and flautist E. Kojo Samuels, who wrote nearly all the pieces and also painted the cover. The record was released in 1981 on the Munich label Trikont in its "Unsere Stimme" series (cat. no. US-0081); it was recorded at Goldfuss Studio with Hans Goldfuss as engineer. The music combines Afrobeat and jazz-funk with free passages, Fender Rhodes, balafon and traditional percussion. This copy is the 1981 German original pressing with the original printed inner sleeve.
