Description

Kenny Dorham – Una Mas (One More Time) is an album by trumpeter Kenny Dorham on Blue Note (BST 84127), recorded on April 1, 1963 at Van Gelder Studio in Englewood Cliffs and produced by Alfred Lion. It was one of his last studio sessions as a leader; the quintet includes Joe Henderson, Herbie Hancock, Butch Warren and the young Tony Williams. The title track is a bossa nova of about 15 minutes, and Dorham dedicated "Sao Paulo" to the Brazilian city he had visited on tour in 1960. Information on the original release year varies (1963 or early 1964). This copy is a 1993 Japanese pressing.
