FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes – the German first pressing from 1972 on Ohr (OMM 556.022). Ohr originals are among the most sought-after records of the Berlin electronic and krautrock scene. Tips on identifying them in our guide Krautrock rarities: how to spot original pressings.

Was Irrlicht made with synthesizers?
No. Schulze did not own a synthesizer yet – the sounds came from organ, processed orchestral recordings and a damaged amplifier.

What does media VG+ / NM- mean?
Side 1 is graded VG+ (light signs of use), side 2 NM- (near mint). All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
