Description

Lou Reed – Live: Take No Prisoners is Lou Reed's third live album as a solo artist, after Rock 'n' Roll Animal and Lou Reed Live. It was recorded May 17–21, 1978 at The Bottom Line in New York with no overdubs, and mixed at Delta Studios in Wilster, Germany. The original came out in November 1978 on Arista, produced by Lou Reed. The double LP is known for Reed's long, improvised monologues between and inside the songs, such as the almost 17-minute "Walk On The Wild Side". This copy is the 1978 German edition on RCA Victor (cat. no. XL 03066) in a gatefold sleeve.
