Description

Manowar – Kings Of Metal is Manowar's sixth studio album, released in November 1988 on Atlantic (cat. no. 781 930-1). Like its predecessor it was recorded at Universal Recording Studios in Chicago, produced by the band with Jason Flom as executive producer. It is the last album with founding guitarist Ross The Boss; drummer Scott Columbus also left for a while afterwards. The original LP has nine tracks; "Pleasure Slave" is missing from the vinyl edition. This copy is a 1988 European original pressing with inner sleeve.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1988 European first pressing on Atlantic with catalogue number 781 930-1. We also have a 2024 reissue in the shop; this one is the original.

Why is "Pleasure Slave" missing?
The song was not included on the original single LP and appeared only on CD editions. Later double-LP reissues added it.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG+ (some wear) mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) on the record means light signs of play that barely affect listening. On the sleeve, VG+ means light wear; the note "some wear" describes it more precisely for this copy. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Manowar records?
Yes, for example Manowar – Fighting The World (EU Original 1987), Manowar – The Triumph Of Steel (2LP, 1992), Manowar – Battle Hymns. More titles are in our Metal collection.
