Mark Knopfler - Local Hero (Vinyl LP)

Mark Knopfler – Local Hero is the 1983 soundtrack to the film of the same name, Knopfler's first film score alongside Dire Straits. The music blends Scottish folk motifs, calm jazz moods and Knopfler's unmistakable guitar playing. The best-known piece is the finale Going Home: Theme Of The Local Hero, plus a ceilidh recorded live and guests such as Tony Levin and Eddie Gomez.

On offer is the 1983 German original pressing on Vertigo (811 038-1) with original inner sleeve.
