FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. 9 was first released in 1999. This record is Metal Blade's 2016 reissue on 180g vinyl, pressed by Pallas in Germany.

What does “New & factory sealed” mean?
The record is unplayed and still in the manufacturer’s original shrink wrap, so it carries no Goldmine grade.

What does 180g mean?
It refers to the weight of the record. A 180g pressing is thicker and heavier than a standard record of about 120 to 140g, so it sits more steadily on the platter and is less prone to warping.

Do you have more Mercyful Fate records?
Yes, for example Mercyful Fate – Melissa or Mercyful Fate – Don't Break The Oath, plus solo albums such as King Diamond – Abigail.
