Mike Oldfield – The Killing Fields is the 1984 original soundtrack to Roland Joffé's film about the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. Oldfield plays guitars, synthesizers and Fairlight, backed by the Bayerisches Staatsorchester and the Tölzer Knabenchor under Eberhard Schoener, with arrangements by David Bedford. Atmospheric and haunting, closing with Oldfield's version of Tárrega's "Étude".
