Description
Mikio Masuda – Mickey's Mouth is the second album by Japanese keyboardist Mikio Masuda after his debut Trace (1974), released in 1976 on the Tokyo label East Wind. It was recorded in April 1976 at Onkio Haus and in June 1976 at Phonogram Studio in Tokyo. Masuda plays Fender Rhodes, clavinet, organ and synthesizers, backed by guitarist Masayoshi Saitoh, bassist Osamu Kawakami, drummer Jess Kurata and percussionist Guilherme Franco, with Kohsuke Mine on soprano saxophone. The result is grooving jazz-funk with long pieces such as I Saw The Light and Let's Get Together. This copy is the Japanese original pressing (East Wind EW 8039) without OBI.
