Description

Morbid Angel – Formulas Fatal To The Flesh is the fifth studio album by death metal band Morbid Angel from Tampa, Florida, released on February 24, 1998 on Earache Records. It was recorded in 1997 at Morrisound Recording in Tampa and produced by guitarist Trey Azagthoth. It is the first album with Steve Tucker, who replaced David Vincent on bass and vocals; lyrically the band turns to the “Old Ones”, partly with passages in Sumerian. FAQ

What does “New & factory sealed” mean?
The record is unplayed and still in the manufacturer’s original shrink wrap, so it carries no Goldmine grade.

Is this the original pressing?
No. The album first came out in 1998 on Earache. This record is the limited 2023 Record Store Day edition on purple vinyl.

What is new on this album?
Steve Tucker joined as singer and bassist. Invocation Of The Continual One reuses music the band had written back in 1984, and Pete Sandoval contributed two instrumentals of his own.

Do you have more Morbid Angel records?
Yes, for example Morbid Angel – Covenant, Heretic and Kingdoms Disdained. More titles are in our Metal collection.
