Nina Simone – My Baby Just Cares For Me (Vinyl LP)

Nina Simone – My Baby Just Cares For Me is a compilation released in 1987 on Yesterdays Gold (cat. no. YDG 15718) under licence from Charly Records. It collects recordings from Nina Simone's first session for Bethlehem Records, held in New York in late 1957 with Jimmy Bond on bass and Albert "Tootie" Heath on drums, which first appeared on her debut album "Little Girl Blue" and on singles. The occasion was the title song's comeback: after being used in a perfume commercial, "My Baby Just Cares For Me" became a UK top 10 hit in 1987. This copy is the 1987 European edition.
