Opeth - Damnation (Vinyl LP | 20th Anniversary Edition | 2023)

Opeth – Damnation is the seventh studio album by Swedish band Opeth and their quietest: no growls, built around acoustic guitars, Mellotron and piano. It was recorded in Gothenburg in 2002 in the same sessions as its heavy sister album Deliverance, produced by Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree), and released on April 22, 2003. This copy is the 2023 20th Anniversary Edition on Music For Nations / Sony, a 180g LP with Steven Wilson's 2015 remix, new and factory sealed.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. Damnation was first released in 2003. This copy is the 2023 20th Anniversary Edition on black 180g vinyl.

Which mix is on this edition?
The anniversary edition uses the remix and remaster Steven Wilson made in 2015, not the original 2003 mix.

What does “New & factory sealed” mean?
The record is unplayed and still in the manufacturer’s original shrink wrap, so it carries no Goldmine grade.

Do you have more Opeth records?
Yes, for example Opeth – The Last Will And Testament from 2024. More titles are in our Metal collection.
