Description

Ozzy Osbourne – Diary Of A Madman is Ozzy Osbourne’s second solo album, released in October 1981 by Jet Records. It was recorded in 1981 at Ridge Farm Studio in Rusper, England, and produced by Max Norman together with Osbourne, Randy Rhoads and Bob Daisley. It is the last studio album with guitarist Randy Rhoads, who died in a plane crash in March 1982. This copy is the limited 2021 EU reissue on red/black swirl vinyl, new and factory sealed.

FAQ

What does “New & factory sealed” mean?
The record is unplayed and still in the manufacturer’s original shrink wrap, so it carries no Goldmine grade.

Is this the original pressing?
No. The original came out on Jet Records in 1981. This is a limited 2021 EU reissue on Epic, from the album’s 40th anniversary year, on red/black swirl vinyl.

Who plays bass and drums?
Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake. On the 2002 edition their parts were replaced by new recordings from Robert Trujillo and Mike Bordin, which many fans criticised.

Do you have more Ozzy Osbourne records?
Yes, for example the 1981 UK original of Diary Of A Madman and Patient Number 9. More titles are in our Metal collection.
