It was recorded on November 3, 1967 in Berlin, around the Berlin Jazz Festival to which Berendt had invited Iturralde, and first released in 1968. It features the then young flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucía and Italian trombonist Dino Piana; besides two originals, the quintet plays two pieces by Manuel de Falla.
