FAQ
Is this the original pressing?
No. The Newborn Touch was first released in the US on Contemporary in 1966. This is a 1977 Japanese stereo reissue manufactured by King Records.
What is special about the song selection?
Instead of standards, Newborn plays compositions by musicians from the Contemporary Records circle, such as Hampton Hawes, Art Pepper, Barney Kessel and Ornette Coleman.
What does Media NM- / Cover VG mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG (Very Good) means clearly visible wear, but the record or sleeve is complete and in decent shape. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
