Raiders Of The Lost ARP – 4 (Vinyl 2LP | IT | 2004)

Raiders Of The Lost ARP – 4 is an album by Rome-based producer Mario Pierro, who uses this name to blend electro, techno and disco with analogue synthesizers. It was recorded in 2003 at his "Pigneto Headquarters" studio in Rome and released on 2 February 2004 by Nature Records as a double LP and CD. Clear analogue melodies, funky electro rhythms and a strong Italo touch shape the nine tracks; many listeners single out the almost eight-minute "On And On" as the highlight. This copy is the 2004 Italian original issue on two vinyl LPs, cat. no. NAT2125LP.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. It is the 2004 Italian first issue on Nature Records (NAT2125LP), released alongside the CD version.

What do Media NM- and Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the records are close to new with at most minimal traces. VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the cover means light signs of use. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

What does the album sound like?
It moves between electro, techno and Italo disco melodies: analogue synths, driving beats and plenty of melody. "On And On" with its clear analogue pads is a particular favourite.

Where can I find more electronic records?
In our Electronic, Techno and Italo Disco collections.
