Description

Retrogott & Hulk Hodn – Kontemporärkontamination is an album by the Cologne duo of rapper Retrogott and DJ/producer Hulk Hodn, who performed as Huss und Hodn until 2013. It was released in December 2018 on Entbs (cat. no. entLP046); the duo produced it themselves, mixed it at Hodnsack and had it mastered at DMDK Studio in Cologne. Musically it is classic boom bap with German lyrics, with Eloquent guesting on Arbeitanderbasis. This copy is the 2018 German original pressing.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. It is the first vinyl edition from 2018 on Entbs. There was also a limited edition with an additional 7" single; this copy is the regular LP.

Are Retrogott & Hulk Hodn the same duo as Huss und Hodn?
Yes. Retrogott (formerly also Kurt Hustle) and Hulk Hodn released records as Huss und Hodn until 2013 and have used their own names since.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means the sleeve shows light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Retrogott & Hulk Hodn records?
Not at the moment. More rap records from Germany and the US are in our Hip Hop collection.
