FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. It is the 1984 original release with catalogue number 601 279, pressed by Sonopress in West Germany.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means the sleeve shows light wear, here some wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

What is uprock?
Uprock (also called rocking) is a dance style from Brooklyn in which two dancers face each other in a kind of mock fight. It is seen as a forerunner and part of breakdance, which the Rock Steady Crew made known worldwide in the early 80s.

Do you have more Rock Steady Crew records?
Yes, for example The Rock Steady Crew – She's Fresh (12"). More titles are in our Hip Hop collection.
