Rox – Violent Breed (Vinyl LP | UK Original | 1983)

Rox – Violent Breed is the first album by Manchester glam and hard rock band Rox, released in 1983 on Music For Nations (cat. no. MFN 11). The band started out in 1981 as Venom and changed its name after trouble with the Newcastle band of the same name; the EP "Hot Love In The City" had appeared in 1982. It was recorded at Pluto Studios in Manchester and produced by Martin Hooker with the band, with cover photography by Fin Costello. This copy is the 1983 UK original pressing with order insert.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes, it is the 1983 UK first issue on Music For Nations (MFN 11), Martin Hooker's London label, which released Metallica's "Kill 'Em All" in the UK the same year.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) for the record means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG (Very Good) for the sleeve means clear, visible signs of use, but complete and intact. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
