FAQ

What does half-speed mastered mean?
In half-speed mastering, the master tape and the cutting lathe both run at half speed. This lets the cutting stylus transfer fine detail and high frequencies more accurately to the lacquer. CBS issued such editions in the early 1980s in its Mastersound series with the HC prefix.

Which inserts are included?
The Mastersound edition comes with an information sheet about the Mastersound series and a colour insert with lyrics and credits.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) for the record means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the sleeve means light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Santana records?
Yes, for example Santana – Abraxas, Santana – Shangó and Santana – Inner Secrets. More titles are in our Latin collection.
