FAQ
Is this the original pressing?
It is a 1981 US pressing – not the regular edition (FC 37158), but the audiophile half-speed mastered version HC 47158 from the CBS Mastersound series.
What does “half-speed mastered” mean?
In half-speed mastering, the tape and the cutting lathe run at half speed. Collectors regard this as a particularly detailed transfer – which is why the Mastersound editions are sought after.
What does media NM- / sleeve VG+ mean?
NM- = near mint with barely any visible signs of use; VG+ = very good plus with light signs of use that hardly affect sound or appearance. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
