Description

Savoy Brown – Getting To The Point is the second studio album by British blues rock band Savoy Brown, recorded in March 1968 at Decca Studios in West Hampstead, London, and produced by Mike Vernon. It was released in July 1968 on Decca. It is the first album by a heavily changed line-up around guitarist Kim Simmonds, with new singer Chris Youlden, plus Dave Peverett and Roger Earl, who later formed Foghat. Alongside original songs it features blues classics by Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon. This copy is the German Decca pressing (cat. no. SLK 16660-P) with inner sleeve.
