Description

Scream – This Side Up is an album by hardcore punk band Scream from the Washington, D.C. hardcore scene, released in 1985 on Dischord Records. The two sides come from two sessions: side A was recorded in early 1984 at Ambient Studios in College Park, Maryland, side B in summer 1984 at Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, Virginia. The record blends raw hardcore with more melodic ideas and is a sought-after title in the Dischord catalogue. On offer is the 1985 US original (Dischord 15½) with inserts.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes – this is the 1985 US issue on Dischord Records, catalogue number Dischord 15½.

Why do the two sides sound different?
Side A and side B were recorded in 1984 in two separate sessions, in different studios and partly with a different line-up.

What does media NM-/VG+ and sleeve VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means almost like new with barely visible marks; VG+ (Very Good Plus) shows light signs of use that hardly affect playback. See Vinyl Grading for details.
