Section 25 – Always Now (Vinyl LP | UK Original | 1981)

Section 25 – Always Now is the debut album by the Blackpool band, released in September 1981 on Factory Records (FACT 45). Produced by Martin Hannett, it sits close to Joy Division in sound, and its Peter Saville packaging – a die-cut card wallet with a marbled interior – is just as well known. On offer is the UK original pressing from 1981 with the original inner sleeve.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes – this is the 1981 UK first issue on Factory Records, cat. no. FACT 45.

What is special about the packaging?
Peter Saville (as "Grafica Industria") designed a die-cut card wallet with black type on yellow, sealed with a red sticker; the lining and inner sleeve carry a marbled pattern in blue, yellow and red.

What do Media VG+ / sleeve VG mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use that barely affect playback. VG (Very Good) for the sleeve means more visible wear – here some edge wear. More on our Vinyl Grading page.
