FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1975 US first edition on Horizon, catalogue number SP-704.

Does Sonny Fortune also play flute here?
Yes. Besides alto saxophone he plays flute on Sunshower and flute with a wah-wah pedal on the title track Awakening.

What does Media close to NM- / Cover VG mean?
The record is close to NM- (Near Mint minus), i.e. nearly new with only minimal signs of play. VG (Very Good) means the sleeve shows clear signs of wear, here shelf wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Sonny Fortune records?
Yes, for example Infinity Is, still sealed. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
