Released in 1987, Outland is the fifth studio album by Spear Of Destiny, the post-punk and new wave outfit led by Kirk Brandon — formerly of Theatre of Hate. By this point the band had evolved into a more polished, anthemic rock sound while retaining the passionate intensity and dark romanticism that defined their earlier work. A solid mid-period entry in the Spear Of Destiny catalog and a sought-after EU original for fans of 1980s British post-punk and new wave.
