Stereo MC's – 33 45 78 is the debut album by London group Stereo MC's, released in 1989 on Gee Street / 4th & Broadway; the European edition carries catalogue number 210 055. The band produced it themselves, working with samples, breakbeats and British-accented rap three years before Connected (1992) became their breakthrough. "Move" had already been released in 1988. This copy is the 1989 European original pressing with original inner sleeve.

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. It is the 1989 European first edition (cat. no. 210 055), pressed in Germany by Sonopress. The UK edition was numbered BRLP 532; a repress followed in 1992.

How does it differ from Connected?
The debut leans more on sampling and classic hip hop; Connected added live instruments, soul vocals and dance influences.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG+ mean?
